Other highlights of my sunny day included strolling through teeny towns with my wonderful friend Becky and falling in love with this wonky red gas pump garage
Yesterday was fabulous and featured sitting outside in the sunny street (England, make your mind up!) and feeling very Parisian as I caught up with the oldest and bestest in Southampton.
Even in the shade you are sunny. Oh, Oxford – I can’t wait to be back for real!
Yesterday my baby brother left home and I’m never going to see him again. Just kidding – he’s coming to Oxford too! We had a fabulous farewell lunch featuring soufflés… Congratulations Ben! Here’s to your new adventure and you better meet me for weekly scones.
It’s that fabulous time of year when you can still go out barefoot into the misty garden in the morning, but you get greeted with autumnal jewels like these
Definitely feels like I’m flying away from a beautiful summer. It’s been a blast! Here’s to embracing autumn!
Farewell drinks as we wait to board the boat off the island
Sun shining on some fairly luminous dessert as we sit by the water having a leisurely lunch
Little brother and dad have gone off on a walk around the island to almost certainly be eaten by crocodiles. I think I’m good here.
South Africa is cold. Cue need for hearty pancake lunches. I also really enjoy these espresso cups filled with cheese and sour cream.
We stopped every day during the afternoon game drive to have evening drinks and watch the sunset.
