Saffron Walden, famed for its crocuses, is starting to feel vaguely springlike. Every year I marvel at how mood-lifting a simple change in the weather is. Roll on, Spring!

My oldest chum came to visit me in Oxford the other day so we hit the Organic Deli Cafe for some major catching up. Her delight when she was told everything was gluten free was the cutest thing.
